The Hama Solid is an automatic ultra fast charger for use with AA or AAA NiCd or NiMH rechargeable batteries. The package is supplied complete with 4 extra high capacity 2100Mah AA NiMH batteries, a UK style 3 pin AC adapter which allows charging from the mains and a car adapter which allows charging from the cigarette lighter socket. The charger will rapidly charge 4 batteries in 2 hours and then automatically switch over to a trickle charge, this protects batteries from damage due to overcharging whilst maintaining a full charge at all times. An addition security monitor will switch the unit off completely should the batteries reach an unsafe state and will identify faulty cells via an LED display. |
