IMPORTANT NOTICE - Please be aware that if you return your goods for repair under the manufacturers guarantee and the manufacturer deems the goods not faulty or the reported fault is not covered by the terms of the guarantee then we/they may insist on a payment being made before your goods are returned, the amount chrarged varies but is typically in the region of £30. Becuase of this we suggest you contact the manufacturer and discuss the fault before returning yours goods.

What to do if you have problems occur during the first year of the Guarantee

All products sold by Buyacamera.co.uk are supplied through the official UK distributors and as such are covered by their twelve month guarantee, if you experience a problem during the manufacturers guarantee period we advise you to return your product directly to the distributor concerned, this will speed up the process considerably as we would simply send your product on to the distributor concerned, this also reduces the chance of damage or loss during transit. The correct address for return can be found below. If you would prefer to return your product to us and let us resolve the problem then please do so, but remember this will add around two weeks to the time you are without your product. Whichever method you choose please remember to send a copy of your purchase receict.

What to do if problems occur during the second year of the Guarantee

What to Return and How to Pack your Product

Unless you suspect certain accessories are faulty or that they are the cause of the problem, we suggest you return the main product only, in the case of Digital Cameras think hard about the need to return your memory card or batteries, this reduces the chance of accessories getting lost or misplaced. Place your product inside a polythene bag (to protect it from dust) and then place it in a plain cardboard box surrounded by a minimum of four inches protective padding (screwed up newspaper should suffice), before sealing the box be sure to enclose a copy of your purchase receipt and a covering letter explaining the problem, don't forget to give accurate address details for return.
